THE EVOLUTION OF 'PAINT & WINE'

WATSON'S 3D

Creating art with a group of friends or family is one of the most rewarding experiences and explains the popularity of the 'paint & wine' phenomenon. The general idea has been to present a group with a flat canvas and have them enjoy a couple of hours of fun with their friends. There is little thought given to the end result or the educational aspect of painting. The majority of 'finished' canvases are never displayed.  The reason for this is obvious - to have a rank amateur sit down in front of a blank canvas and be expected to create any painting above a basic level in that short length of time in simply impossible. This is where 'THE EVOLUTION OF PAINT & WINE' with the revolutionary new Watson's 3D paint system and lesson plans changes this.

ABOUT OUR PRODUCT

Watson's 3D Paint System has been developed for professional artists as well as amateurs. This system uses the advanced PR3 molding compound engineered as a highly paintable acrylic surface resulting in superior strength with outstanding indoor/outdoor applications. Each 3D paint blank is molded from an original Gil Watson sculptured signature piece. There is a large variety of subject matter to select from and various categories such a coastal, religious, African wildlife etc are expanded on a continuous basis, offering new and exciting 3D blanks designed for "paint & wine" venues, informal group painting sessions or for individual painting projects. The Watson's 3D System is far superior to the old flat canvas painting method as it offers a highly visible bridge between the abstract and the concrete when teaching the critical building blocks of acrylic painting. Emphasising and re-enforcing the balance between light and shadow, blending techniques and contrast. The return rate of students using the Watson's 3D System at "paint & wine" venues is extremely high as first time uses obtain results that are far superior to any other format available, resuting in students wanting to paint more subject matter.
